The time seems to have flown by since we got here. We’ve had some good bike rides along the canal, we have met some new people and caught up with some old friends, we have visited most of our favourite restaurants, and we have bought some goodies for the house from the Ikea in Rennes.…

Due to an administrative error we are out of oil for our boiler, which means no heating and no hot water until Monday morning when the fuel man can come. I can’t help feeling it’s partly my fault! Anyway we decided to head somewhere for the weekend and Quiberon sounded nice. It’s a seaside resort…

It was great to get to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport after 12 hours on Air France from Tokyo. I did manage to watch the latest James Bond, Arnie and Bruce Willis movies and the food and drinks were very good but it’s a long time. We stayed at the Ibis hotel at the airport…

We had a really interesting couple of days firstly on a guided tour of the historic Kagurazaka district in Tokyo where some geishas live and train and the next day a bus trip to Mount Fuji and back on the bullet train. Off to France tomorrow but we really have had an interesting and enjoyable…

Yesterday we went to Calico Cat café in Shinjuku and also the Shinjuku gardens, here’s some pictures: And that last one was Pauline s dinner the first night. Nice weather here in Tokyo, hope it’s nice back home too.
